RE: NOT Shopping today..

Okay, don't panic! Look around for your medicine. It probably fell on the floor and rolled under the table. That's it. Find the bottle and take two big pills with water. Now, don't you feel better? Please do not forget to take your pills again. Joezilla

RE: 08 onan gold 5500 - shutting down

the wifey rode in the camper with the dogs and kept complaining that the generator would run for 20 minutes or so and then turn itself off. after a few minutes the wifey would recrank the generator and all would be just fine for another 20 minutes or so. Anyone beside me notice this??? The wife rode in the trailer?????? That would seem to be a death wish. Too many things could happen. Not safe...... Just my opinion though. Joezilla

RE: Pilgrim's new Ultima Composilite fifth-wheel

Looks like the Domani in appearance. It probably is not a full timers rig though. It is cute though. Joezilla

RE: Domani Hitch

I would think that if the Domani hitch has bolts on the sides, it can be removed. Perhaps CW did not want to do the job? Joezilla

RE: washer/dryer

We just got the Splendide XC 2100 installed last week at Camping World in Ft. Worth. It does a wonderful job of cleaning the clothes and drying also. It is a vented dryer. I would strongly suggest a vented unit over a ventless one. Joezilla

RE: Ice Maker

Camping World has a smaller version on sale for $169 that makes 20 lbs or so a day and weighs less than 30 lbs. That is the one I'm going to get. Joezilla

RE: Ouch...These lessons are expensive

Oh my, sounds like you are becoming much smarter everyday. Ha. All of us have done most of those things at one time or the other. Enjoy your camping, thats the main thing. Joezilla

RE: Snowbirds - what are we going to do about next year??

CardinalRule, You said....."Golf per round - 2000.00 (at home I would have a $800.00 membership)" Not even at Pebble Beach would you pay $2000 for one round. If I were you, I'd find a cheaper place to play. Joezilla

RE: Dutch oven liner?

The link Chuck provided is a good one. We ordered the liners and they fit perfectly inside a 12" DO. I emailed the manufacturer about perhaps getting liners for a 10" DO. He replied that there were no plans in the immediate future for other sizes. Too bad since I just bought a 10 incher. Joezilla

RE: Mega cab good, short bed big mistake

There is a place in Texas somewhere around Austin that does the MC longbed conversions. Benny Boyd Dodge sells the finished products. I think they have sold everyone they've gotten, many the first day they are on the lot. If I am not mistaken, the price is in the $5000 to $6000 range. Joezilla

RE: Make at home and take with you

The wife likes to make up a batch of Taco Soup sometimes. Also, spaghetti is super on a camping trip. Tuna fish is good also. Joezilla

While not a Durango, we do own another KZ product.....Montego Bay. It is a quality trailer with which we have had much fun and enjoyment owning. Joezilla

We are tooling around in a KZ Montego Bay 39 footer pulled by a 2007 Ford F350 dually PSD. Loving every minute of it. Joezilla

RE: Ol-Blue's Sausage And Ravioli Soup

Chuck, Debbie and I did two of Ol' Blue's recipes this weekend. We did the mixed berry cobbler and the baked taco pasta. Both were wonderful. My first two attempts at Dutch Oven cooking and both turned out great. What are the odds? I'm convinced that all of Ol' Blue's recipes are the BEST!! Joezilla
